What Zergo handles

Zergo acts as your single point of contact for the entire certification process. You provide the documentation; Zergo handles everything from there — including all communication with NBTC.

  1. Document review and preparation

Zergo reviews your technical documentation for completeness and verifies that your test reports align with the applicable NBTC standards before submission.

  2. Application submission

We submit the application to NBTC on your behalf, using our in-house local representative or coordinating with your appointed representative.

  3. NBTC communication

If NBTC requests supplementary information during review, Zergo handles all communication and prepares the response. You are kept informed at every stage.

  4. Approval delivery

Once approved, Zergo delivers the official approval details — including the reference number and approval document — directly to you.

Local representative

Thai regulations require a local representative — a Thai juristic person holding an NBTC trade license and supplier code — for all Class A and Class B applications. This is a legal filing requirement, separate from Zergo's role as your certification manager.

Zergo's in-house local representative satisfies this requirement directly. Alternatively, if you have your own appointed local representative in Thailand, Zergo can coordinate with them instead.

Zergo always handles preparation, submission, and all NBTC communication regardless of which local representative option is used. The local representative role covers filing only and does not extend to post-certification compliance obligations.

Option 1

Use Zergo's in-house representative

Zergo's local representative holds an NBTC trade license and supplier code. No separate arrangement needed.

Option 2

Use your own appointed representative

If you have an existing local representative in Thailand, Zergo coordinates with them as part of the process.
